Have a look at this chart- http://www.europeantransmissions.com/Application.htm It lists various models, and the transmissions etc.... Personally, Ive never owned a W124 or any Gasser M.B. (Except an ancient W114 280E) so have little knowledge of the gasser variations or models.... I stick to W123 3...

An HX40 is far too big for an OM606. Even on engines twice the displacement its known to be a dog spooling up. It might be fine for the drag strip or race track where you're flogging the piss out of the engine, but on the street you'll have performance little better than that of a non-turbo engine....

Lots of searching, think I may have answer!

Mounting-arms that bolt to engine-block, and bolt to rubber mount from 300SE/L W126 for OM.603-

-But--Do the 603 arms fit 606?

I looked at the threads posted, but 'Google Translation' makes very confusing reading!--Lots on Myna pumps and Turbos etc, but not engine mounts...

Looking for engine to chassis mount information...?

Do not take HX40 from old trucks, instead take a brand new HX40super which boost from lover rpm's and gives more on top rpm's. Typical price here in Finland is not more than around 750 €. How are the differential mountings and the flex-discs of the drive-shafts?

These items can cause horrible vibrations at speed when broken....

OM.606 Turbo engine into W123?

Hi guys... Has anyone done this who can tell me how? I'm hoping to get an OM.606 and fit to my 1985 W123 wagon. My problem is what Engine Mountings do I use? Are there any other things I need to know? --I hear that some spacers are needed, 10mm on one side and 20mm the other, so engine 'sits' right....

Well, we tried it and the idle went to crap and EGTs went through the roof but there was a huge jump in power. The idle would have torn up the mounts in no time and it was terrible as a daily driver so I went back to the stock delivery valves. Very interesting.... I think I can explain Why you foun...
