Does anyone here know how different the KKK K26 turbos are from the federal ones?

I know the 85 300d turbos have the kkk k26.

Is there a big difference from the two?

I'm pushing 12 pounds of boost on my as of now and i've notice better acceleration from the stock setting of 7psi.

1. tinted my windows
2. painted black
3. took trim off
3. installed boost controler
4. Boost gauge
5. alpine radio with explodes speakers
6. rebuilt engine

i have a trap oxidizer on my 85 , was wondering if i can swap it out with a another ,less restrictive, exhaust manifold. Does anyone know?
