Our 500SEC wide body and 500SEL AMG received a nice little write up in the current issue of Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine July 2012. I picked up a copy during my visit to Finland last week as it's not readily available stateside. Hope you enjoy!

Referencing my muse, the 500SEC 32v AMG Wide Body featured in the July 1984 German Magazine Publication, "Auto Motor und Sport," Dan Miller Auto Tops and Interiors reproduced this Gembella styling, designed for AMG, door card insert.

Coupled with the AMG styled door wood trim by Madera Concepts, the inserts offer a unique touch to the coupe's cabin.

Another option AMG once offered during the 80's were AMG carpet inlay floor mats. They have not been available, as with every AMG classic part, for years.

I'm proud to announce they are now available again! Together with In Stitches in Arizona, we have produced an accurate replacement AMG floor mat for the W126. R/C107 coming soon!

We attended the Legends of the Autobahn this past weekend in Carmel Valley, California during Pebble Beach Autoweek. This is only the third year Mercedes has been included in this exclusive event but the number of W126's increases annually.

We entered our coupe in the Concours judging and I am honored to say we were awarded 2nd Place in our class.

If anyone is interested in taking on a similar project, I've assembled a complete AMG wide body kit, wheels, suspension and bumpers and listed them on eBay. There are several Finns here in Los Angeles that send sea freight containers to Finland every couple of months. I'd be happy to help with that.

Starfest 2012 - Phoenix Arizona.

We took a trip out to the desert to attend Mercedes Benz Club of America's event, Starfest. Sponsored by MBCA and MBUSA, the event turned out some very special vehicles. Set within the Biltmore Resort, the vehicles were placed in a fantastic setting. Our coupe was entered in the "Modified" class and we were honored with 1st in Class.

Phoenix and "Old Town" Scottsdale were both wonderful cities and if you have a chance to visit I highly recommend it.

Depends on the part. Not all parts are media blasted, some are just hot dipped in chemicals. Some of the accessories I have successfully "tumbled" in conical media with fantastic results. Aluminum oxide is good on some but I like the soda blaster for more delicate work.
