OM 617 Turbo Holset HX35w question!

Hello and respect for all lovers and owners of Mersu-Benzes!

I ve got a question and hope you can help me.
My Om 617 Turbo is now powered by Holset HX35w. But no changes i marked since i left the carshop where i ve installed this turbo. Maybe now my car is a little bit dumber than it was with stock turbo. I don't use intercooler, i haven't done anything with diesel pump, i have an exaust pipe with inner diameter of about 58 mm and stock air filter. My turbo pressure gauge showing me maximum pressure of 0.3-0.4 bar and wastegate valve is always being closed.
What i have done wrong? Why my MB can't run like at least stock OM617 Turbo can run it?

Hi!

Your problem is oversized turbo for rest of the build. You need much more fuel to spool HX35.

if i add more fuel by adjusting injection pump, without upgrading pump by bigger elements, will i get more changes?

I don't think you'll get enough fuel from stock pump.

HX35 is much too large for an OM617 without a high output pump. You need an HX30 or HY30, anything larger will actually reduce performance (as you found out)!
