Hello for everyone!
I'm from Latvia and i'm very interested how to add more power to my diesel MB (w124 300D 1988.).
I want to replace my om603 non turbo engine with om603 turbo engine. Is it difficult to do this? what parts would suit from non turbo engine?
I also want to add more hp to turbo diesel engine. so how big intercooler i need with stock turbo? what about intercooler piping (what kind of pipes i need to use)? i understood from other topics that i also need to adjust fuel pump, but how much?
sorry for my not very good english
thanks everyone for answering to my questions!

603 turbo engine should be an easy installation, if you have automatic transmission, best to swap that for one from a turbo car.
The most you can adjust the pump on a turbo 603 is about 170-180hp. You will need an intercooler to reach this level, but it does not need to be large. A friend in USA has one that is about 15x7x75 cm.

If you want more than 180hp, you will want to have major work done on the injection pump.
It would would be a good idea to read the prior postings in the English forum here, as well as http://www.schumanautomotive.com/forums ... y.php?f=19
