Yep, I set that one up. I'm Boneheaddoctor Got to say I have a lot of respect for the guys here in Finland, Shame we have this language barrier thing with so many very knowledgeable people in Finland on this topic.

I drool over the Green W123 300TD thats compound Turbo/supercharged. That guy is a true artist in metal.

I think that W123 isn`t anymore on the road..

atleast he has been selling a lot of stuff from his car in this forum.

Thats a shame. He did a wonderful job with it. He didn't have an accident I hope. Wonder what happened to it if he is parting it out.

I can honestly say there are a huge number of people here in the USA that would have loved to have that car.

Have been busy at work so it is a bit delayd...some parts are still under construction but i try to get it on the road this summer....if not then next summer.There has been made some bigger modifications on the chassis, drivetrain and engine....nothing left from the old. But the outside of the car is going to be as it was, ecept from the undertay of the car and some new paint.

I haven't read all the discussion on this topic, but as a general guideline I think I can say this. Please remember to respect your fellow forum members by being polite and using proper language. Keep your heads cool!

Frankly, I don't have the foggiest idea what some people were bitching to each other about and I don't have the time to find out so please do not educate me on the matter.

Given that the rules of Mersuforum are in Finnish only, it would be outrageous to ban people for violating those rules so I've just frozen this topic and cleaned the flamewar to the trashbin (visible to moderators only) under the name "Yanks calling each other assholes" where it will be auto-cleaned in about a month.

Perhaps I should write a very very short edition of the general rules translated to Englsih as a sticky here so this kind of thing would not happen again. For the time being, if you want to chat with each other, use the private messages ("yksityisviesti" in Finnish) or email, do not bicker about issues on a public forum. When writing on Mersuforum act with the kind of dignity that is suitable for this premium brand of automobiles (superturboed or not) and try to avoid using lewd languge.

ps2: Well I actually took the time to shorten and translate the rules. Like it says there, common sense and good matters are often all you need.
