500bhp drift project
hi friends,
hope this is in right section, sorry i don't speak finnish.
i'm building a w202 with om606, eaton m112 charger and hx52w turbo.
last time i had w202, om605, holset hx35 running 385bhp on original modifed exhaust manifold. Dieselmekens' first 7.5mm m- pump.

Hi and welcome ro Mersuforum.net! Nice to see a W202 car here among the many w124 and w201 cars.
This section is OK, you could post on the Turbot section or the English forum section, too. I believe the turbo freaks mostly read the Turbot section and this one. There are a few drifting cars shown here and a lot of other "hobby racers".

Hi. I guess no. Here in finland we have corporation named by mynädiesel. mynädiesel makes the best pumps around the world as far as I know. Has won lots of a tractorpulling things etc..
if you want a really good pump to your engine, I suggest you to take a contact to this dieselpump expert mynädiesel. I guess this company can delivery ready pump to you at a home. I don't know the price, but you can ask it by your self.
somebody will give you all connection information to the mynädiesel. I don't know these things.

thanks for that, i tried to contact Myna a few years back with no luck, but then i met Goran,( Dieselmeken) from Sweden,
he helped me out with my last pump for the om605, it was high rpm 7.5mm, 150cc.
I was happy with it, so i think i will try his new 8mm, he has modified cam in some of his new 8mm.
No one in Ireland here, can do much magic with these pumps.

Herlevi is good and Mynädiesel. And Siekkinen from Kalajoki Finland do best gearbox

Interesting I was of the understanding that a steering quickener is for rack & pinion setup but i guess it depends on where you bolt it up. hi,
yea, i'm gonna try it and see what happens, steering is very heavy to turn with it in, so i won't know until i have engine running and power steering working.
in the picture its fitted the wrong way around to leave steering light for pushing car in and out of garage
steering column bits,
gearbox is from e39 530d or e46 330d

Hope for the best that the GS5-39DZ can take the beating, if that fails, go for GS6-53DZ (BMW E60 530D's gearbox)

Actually the GS6-53DZ/BZ gearbox can be also found from e46 330d and e39 530d if the have the M57N (201hp) engine.
GS5-39DZ gearbox was used in e46 330d/e39 530d with older M57 (181hp), so if this is one has 6 gears and is from a 3 liter engine, it's already the tougher one.

The maximum input torque of these trannies is told on the type, GS6-53 holds up to 530Nm and GS5-39 390Nm .

hi,
i made a start on exhaust manifold, i had to mount the turbo low so the 4 inch downpipe could go underneath the manifold runners, remember this is right hand drive so the steering box is in the way.

all runners are equal lenght, they are pretty long but its the only way i could do it to get the down pipe underneath.
its all tacked with the mig, now to the bench for the tig.
